Level 2 Award – First Aid Risk Assessment Principles & Practice

We are pleased to announce this new First Aid Risk Assessment qualification, which we are now able to certificate for through First Aid Awards as a Level 2 qualification (Level 5 in Scotland).  All employers by law have to provide a First Aid provision in their workplace by conducting a Risk Assessment of First Aid requirements.

This qualification will help employers unravel some of the complexities in conducting the risk assessment.

Course Content

The course is made up of theoretical and practical sessions delivered by your Instructor who will provide a detailed course programme.

A range of subjects are covered that will enable you to understand:

• The role and responsibilities of a First Aid Appointed Person
• The employer’s responsibilities in respect of First Aid

• How to manage a First Aid related incident in the absence of a qualified First Aider or Emergency First Aider
