Recently it has been on my mind that when I am out working with small business customers, or working from home or office, should anything happen accident-wise or health related, I do not have the skills or knowledge to be able to deal with it. Fortunately as a self employed IT support and consultant, I’m not in an industry with a high accident rate, but on a personal or humane level it was something I wanted to address.
LWS Training Services ‘Emergency First Aid at Work’ course was an ideal solution. The course provided all I needed plus more, everything from cuts and electric shock too how to use defibrillator and CPR.
The course is information PACKED from start to finish. So it is a credit to our coach Leslie Singleton who is able to keep the course progressing and feeling fresh, avoiding ‘information overload’ occurring!
Realistically a one day course isn’t going to make me a paramedic, but that’s not what it is for; it does give me the knowledge I need, should an accident ever happen, I’m capable of providing basic assistance, and if needed, the bridge to professional help.
Thank you Les
